Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Cabrera shoots in for a takedown. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Ramirez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quark's waist but Quark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ramirez off to one side. Quark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fight stays on the outside here - Quark looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ruttu feinted there with a counter leg kick.#T3# Quark goes for a double leg but Ruttu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ruttu continues to drive forward. Quark throws a looping overhand right but Slaissi ducks down to avoid it. Slaissi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Quark looks to land a right hand but Slaissi moved out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slaissi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Good exchange - Slaissi coming out on top.#T1# Slaissi throws out a loose jab but Quark uses good head movement to avoid it.
