#R1# Baker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A quick step to the side and French tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Baker doesn't succeed with the takedown and French counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. French throws a shot to the body.
Baker doesn't succeed with the takedown letting French counter with a right hand. Frank French has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chett Baker . Jab by French. Baker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? French is fending him off so far but Baker persists. Nope, French circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like French wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. French thuds a left hand into Baker 's body. Baker tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but French defends well and Baker ends up having to push French into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. French was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Baker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Baker fails with the takedown and French counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Chett Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. French was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.#T1# Baker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Baker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Baker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Islander counters with a straight right hand. Son Islander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chett Baker . Baker fails with the takedown and Islander counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Baker misses with a takedown letting Islander counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Islander makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Baker tries for a takedown but Islander circles away easily and Islander counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Baker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Islander sprawls well. Islander wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baker gets slowly back to his feet. Baker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Dubois has hold of Baker 's hands but Baker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Baker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Baker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB2# Baker seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dubois is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
