Pavelka lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Pavelka tries to score a body lock takedown but Wei shows good agility there to stay on his feet.#TD# Pavelka turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pavelka wants to control for a moment but Wei uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pavelka stalling. Pavelka has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Pavelka passes to full mount! Pavelka controlling from the full mount. #T1##SU# Pavelka stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Pavelka throws a sloppy head kick and Wei moves out of range easily. Wei is looking to clinch. Pavelka is looking to counter the offense by Wei and move into the clinch. Pavelka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#CL# Pavelka rushes Wei and presses him up against the cage.#BC2# Wei manages to break the clinch.
Wei throws a head kick that misses and Pavelka counters with a left and a right that stings Wei. Pavelka tried to score with a low kick but Wei checks it. Choi Wei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Pavelka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pavelka content to control rather than advance. #SUB# Pavelka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wei defends it well. #T2##SUB# Pavelka seems to be working for a kimura but Wei defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wei tries to kick Pavelka off but Pavelka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pavelka slows the pace down in half guard. #SUB# Pavelka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wei doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pavelka. #T3##SUB# Pavelka seems to be working for a kimura but Wei defends the submission attempt.#SUB# Pavelka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
