#R1# Kawulski throws a nice looking combination but Volyas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Volyas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Volyas tries to clinch but Kawulski is having none of it. Volyas looks to clinch #TD# and Kawulski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kawulski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Volyas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Volyas is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Volyas has momentary wrist control but Kawulski slips an elbow through the middle. Kawulski working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Volyas looking for a sweep. Not yet Volyas, not yet. Kawulski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kawulski lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kawulski postures up and lands a big shot to Volyas's brow. Kawulski prevents Volyas from getting back to his feet. Kawulski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Volyas is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kawulski dives into side control.
#T1# Kawulski prevents Volyas from escaping the position. A lull in the action here as Kawulski stalls from top position. Kawulski working the head with strikes. #SUB# Kawulski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Volyas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kawulski lands a few punches from side control. The referee asks Kawulski politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kawulski prefers to stall for the moment though.#SUB# Kawulski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Volyas pushes Kawulski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kawulski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. A lull in the action here.#T2# Volyas taking punishment in the form of punches.
Volyas regains half guard.#SUB# Kawulski is working for a submission of some sort.
Volyas wants to stand back up but Kawulski manages to pass into side control.
Kawulski lands an elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Volyas bucks up and tries to throw Kawulski off but instead Kawulski has got his back!#SUB# Kawulski is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Volyas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kawulski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Volyas tries to escape the position.
#T3##SUB# Kawulski has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Volyas is in real trouble here. Kawulski gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Volyas is tapping out! Kawulski wins by rear naked choke!

#R1##CL2# Volyas darts in and clinches Martin up against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Volyas creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Martin's defenses. #CUT2#It looks like Christopher Martin has been cut. Volyas connects with a knee to the head.
Martin dodges an elbow strike from Volyas.
Martin is trying to push Volyas away but Volyas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Martin leaning against his opponent.
Martin stalls. Martin avoids a wild elbow strike from Volyas. Volyas gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Martin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Volyas is defending well. Martin takes an elbow to the forehead. Martin blocks an elbow strike. Volyas is looking to break free of the clinch but Martin has double underhooks. Martin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Volyas gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. #ROC2#Martin is rocked! Volyas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#BC# Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crack! Volyas connects with the perfect overhand right and Martin falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Volyas!
