Tomoko fails with a takedown attempt.
Tomoko darts in looking for a takedown but Locke gets double underhooks and turns Tomoko into the cage.
Locke throws a big counter combination but Tomoko scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Locke definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ryan Locke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Locke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tomoko in his tracks.
Tomoko doesn't manage to clinch there - Locke circles away.
Tomoko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ryan Locke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Horiuchi Tomoko.
Locke throws a series of punches but Tomoko avoids them all with ease. #KD#
Locke catches Tomoko napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Tomoko to the canvas!

Grang lands with a nice combination. Tomoko backs away looking to recover.
Tomoko takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Grang dodges the punch combination from Tomoko.
Tomoko wants to clinch but Grang slips to the side
and Grang counters with a right hand to the body.
Tomoko wants to clinch
and Grang counters with a big right hand! Oh Tomoko is in trouble here! Grang follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Arnason pushes Tomoko up against the cage in a clinch.
Tomoko tries to pull guard but Arnason holds him up against the cage and eventually Tomoko drops back down to his feet.
Arnason lands a knee to the body.
Arnason scores with a shot to the side of Tomoko's head.
Stalling in the clinch from Arnason.
Arnason lands a body shot.
Arnason lands an uppercut.
Arnason has Tomoko pressed against the cage.
Arnason lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tomoko throws a punch but it's blocked by Arnason.
A short right from Arnason.
Tomoko is trying to maintain a safe position but Arnason gets an underhook and turns Tomoko into the cage.
Tomoko jumps guard but Arnason turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Arnason lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tomoko backwards. #ROC2# Tomoko is rocked!#T1#
Arnason manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Oh Tomoko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arnason lands an elbow that stopped Tomoko in his tracks for a moment.
Arnason lands a knee to the body.
Tomoko is breathing heavily.
Arnason takes control of his opponent's neck and spins him into the cage. Tomoko is off balance and as he stumbles, Arnason throws a jumping knee that lands flush on Tomoko's chin, knocking him out cold! Oh my word - what a knockout! Definitely one for his highlight reel! If he ever decides to rob a bank and run off to Morocco, that moment is defintely worthy of a tacky mural!

Tomoko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tomoko walks into a stiff left hand from Miz.
Miz connects with a body shot.
Miz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Miz lands a right hook to the body.
Miz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tomoko wants to clinch#TD#
and Miz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tomoko looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Miz advances to half guard.
Miz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Miz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T1#
Miz continues to stall.
More hug and hope from Miz.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2#
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Miz works his foot free and advances to mount.

Miz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Miz is stinking the place up with his stalling.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circle, before Miz throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tomoko's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Miz lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Fits Miz really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KOMBAT KLOTHING logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. |
