Aids lands a left and a right that send Lual crashing to the mat, dazed. Aids thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#Lual is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Abasi Lual has been cut.
Aids lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Lual head around and knocks him out cold! Aids hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Space Aids!

Aids is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.#CUT2#It looks like Petr Romanov has been cut.
Romanov darts in looking for a takedown but Aids gets double underhooks and turns Romanov into the cage.
Aids looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#BC2#
Aids's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A jab lands there for Aids.
Aids stuns Stevenson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Aids looks to throw the jab but Stevenson is out of range. #TD2#
Stevenson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Aids can't keep his opponent in guard - Stevenson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighter complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
