Mikami misses with a kick to the body.
Crawford tries to clinch up.
Nice sprawl there from Crawford as Mikami shoots in.
Mikami fails with a takedown attempt.
Crawford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mikami tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Crawford defends well and Mikami ends up having to push Crawford into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zachary Crawford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinji Mikami.

Mikami throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kong was covering up waiting for the punch and Mikami finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mikami trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kong is trying to control the position but Mikami postures up.
Kong wants to sweep here but Mikami controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mikami lands a couple of digs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mikami wants to get up but he can't break Kong 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mikami forces his way into half guard.
