We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Gavalwack takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gavalwack enables Vee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gavalwack manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Vee passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gavalwack takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Hoshi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gavalwack for as long as he can get away with.
