#R1# Twagiramungu moves away from the strike by Christ. Christ misses with the combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Twagiramungu. Jab by Christ. Christ slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Christ digs a good hook to Twagiramungu's body.
Twagiramungu takes one to the chin there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Christ throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Twagiramungu changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Twagiramungu moves out of range as Christ strikes. Nice shot by Christ. Christ fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Twagiramungu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Christ throws out a loose jab but Twagiramungu uses good head movement to avoid it. Twagiramungu drops down looking for a counter takedown but Christ sprawls and moves away.#T1# Christ fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#CUT2#It looks like Theogene Twagiramungu has been cut. Twagiramungu fails with the takedown and Christ counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Christ, as that shot connected.
Christ has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Twagiramungu staying out of range there. Christ lands with a big left! Twagiramungu is wobbled badly! Christ comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Twagiramungu to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Twagiramungu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spunkmeyer circles away.#CL# Spunkmeyer clinches. #TD# Spunkmeyer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Twagiramungu is trying to keep an underhook but Spunkmeyer manages to get the takedown into half guard.#SUB2# Twagiramungu actively working from the bottom here.#SUB2# Twagiramungu looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Spunkmeyer trying to control the pace. Spunkmeyer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move.
