#R1# Lungfish lands an overhand right. Lungfish shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pierce eats them both and turns towards Lungfish to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Lungfish looks to land a combination but Pierce avoids it well. An attempted straight right counter from Pierce misses the target. Pierce connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Lungfish looks to land a right hand but Pierce moved out of range. Pierce scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lungfish in his tracks. Lungfish catches Pierce with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pierce throws an off balance right hand
and Lungfish counters with a lovely shot to the body. Pierce moves out of range as Lungfish strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lungfish misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pierce rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lungfish counters with a right hand to the body. Pierce takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. A big right from Lungfish misses. Lungfish dodges the punch combination from Pierce.
Lungfish feints a jab promting Pierce to slip. Lungfish then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pierce slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Pierce misses with a jab, cross combination.
#T1# A combination from Lungfish does no damage. A jab from Pierce does it's job there. Pierce has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Lungfish throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pierce on the side of the head. Pierce on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Pierce takes one on the button. Pierce lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lungfish scores with a nice head shot. Lungfish missing with a left hand there. Pierce was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lungfish avoids the body shot from Pierce.

Lungfish ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Pierce throws a right and a left that Lungfish avoids nicely. Pierce misses with a hook. Pierce has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lungfish finds it's way round the side to connect with Pierce's head. Lungfish bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lungfish lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pierce throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lungfish throws a right and a left that both miss. Lungfish is working the combinations to good effect here. Pierce takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lungfish lands with a shot to the body. Will he be able to recover?!! Pierce is breathing heavily. Lungfish throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Lungfish finds Pierce's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Pierce flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Lungfish lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Pierce will be OK.

#R1# Gregory slips a straight right by Pierce. Gregory drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pierce defends it well. Pierce tries to bum rush Gregory with a series of wild strikes but Gregory uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pierce throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pierce takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gregory shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pierce but Pierce pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pierce swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Gregory showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pierce.
Pierce fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gregory has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Gregory blocks a head kick by Pierce.
#CL2# Gregory closes the distance and clinches. Gregory tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pierce avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gregory is trying to force a seperation but Pierce has the dominant position. Pierce definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#BC2# Gregory pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pierce misses with a body kick. Pierce throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD2# and Gregory decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pierce's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gregory wants to get up but he can't break Pierce's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #T1# Gregory wants to control from the top but Pierce keeps moving. Gregory sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gregory trying to control the position from guard on top but Pierce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gregory wants to stand but Pierce is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gregory postures up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pierce keeping moving, preventing Gregory from controlling successfully. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Gregory gets a takedown into half guard. Pierce wants to get back to full guard.#SUB2# Pierce is defending against the submission attempts here by Gregory.
Pierce is doing well to control the position and prevent Gregory from advancing to side control.#T3# Pierce has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gregory is working away from the top position though. Pierce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gregory on the ground. Well, if Gregory is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SUB2# Gregory is looking for a kimura but Pierce is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gregory to get the leverage. Pierce is in trouble now - Gregory has advanced to mount! Pierce is working to get back to half guard.
Gregory controlling his opponent. Pierce is looking to improve his position but Gregory isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee warns Pierce that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pierce swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pierce is looking for a sweep. Gregory has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gregory trying to control the action but Pierce is working from the bottom. Pierce is trying to control Gregory's posture but Gregory avoids it. Gregory scoring with punches from side control. #T3# Gregory is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pierce's shoulder. That is not cool. You can see the frustration on Pierce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gregory controls the position. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Pierce avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gregory changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pierce tries to avoid it but Gregory manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pierce to the ground. Pierce escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gregory's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pierce connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gregory scrambles back to his feet. Gregory is looking to clinch but Pierce is avoiding it.

#R1# A jab from Pierce misses. Fier swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Pierce throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little jabbing left from Fier on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Fier fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Pierce tries a head kick but it misses.
Fier has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fier lands a really nice looking cross but Pierce seems unphased.

and Fier counters with a stiff right hand. Fier throws out a powerful jab. Pierce circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Fier. Pierce falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Fier!
