Luciano lands a big uppercut and Mendes crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mendes looks OK. Luciano waves Mendes back to his feet!#ROC#Mendes is rocked!
Luciano cracks Mendes's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Mendes slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Luciano can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Shusharin lands a big uppercut and Mendes crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mendes looks OK. Shusharin waves Mendes back to his feet!#CUT#It looks like Danilo Mendes has been cut.
Mendes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shusharin.
Shusharin throws a hook to the side of Mendes's head but Mendes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shusharin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mendes tries to counter by closing the distance.
Shusharin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mendes to the canvas! Mendes doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shusharin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Compare cracks Mendes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mendes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Compare finish him?

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mendes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Mendes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters circling - Compare throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mendes seems to have got his legs back now.
Compare leaves Mendes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mendes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Isle tries to throw a body punch but Mendes avoids it by throwing Isle back against the cage.
Mendes wants to stall.
Mendes tries to break free but Isle pushes him back against the cage.
Isle lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mendes backwards.
Isle lands with a left to the head.
Mendes tries to stall but Isle uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Isle.
Mendes looks winded!
Isle throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mendes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savon pinned against the cage. Savon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sloppy strikes from Savon. Those never looked like landing.
Savon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mendes at a distance.
