It looked like Trout was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Trout went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Michael Trout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arkadij Pashchenko.

Leifsson misses with a telegraphed body shot #TD2#
and Trout counters with a shoot takedown. Leifsson fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trout stands up over Leifsson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Trout sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Leifsson's guard.

Trout content to control rather than advance.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trout connects with a nice short shot to Leifsson's temple. #T1#
Trout is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Trout maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Leifsson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Trout has cracked it and Leifsson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Trout!
