Ahasuerus lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. No joy there for Ahasuerus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ahasuerus takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thomas lands with a nice combination. Ahasuerus backs away looking to recover.#CUT2#It looks like Xerxes Ahasuerus has been cut. Thomas throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Ahasuerus's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Thomas dives in looking to finish as Ahasuerus flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Thomas's strikes! Thomas is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Ahasuerus's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ahasuerus was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
