#R1# Jab from Bishop. Bishop throws a left and a right that both miss
#TD# and Bee counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bishop is wriggling around but Bee manages to pass to half guard.
Bee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bee lands with a punch from half guard. Bishop is refusing to be controlled, as Bee sits in half guard. Bee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bee passes to side control. Bee grinds an elbow into Bishop's temple. Bee throws a strike aimed at the side of Bishop's head but Bishop avoids it well. Bishop avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bee. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bishop is trying to buck Bee off.#T1# Bee working the head and body with strikes. Bee trying to control the position but Bishop is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bee connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bishop some visible discomfort.

Bishop has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bee is really squeezing tight and eventually Bishop passes out! Bee breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

#R1# Bishop uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Monferand.
#TD2# Bishop gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Monferand wants to improve his position but Bishop is controlling well.

Monferand is positioning himself well to prevent Bishop advancing to mount. Monferand trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monferand tries to roll over but Bishop keeps him under control. Monferand might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bishop is trying to control the action in half guard but Monferand is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Monferand gets back to full guard.
#T1##SUB# Monferand is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Monferand pulls Bishop in close to prevent any damage. Monferand is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SUB# Monferand working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop slips nicely into half guard. Bishop seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Monferand does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Monferand makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Monferand. Monferand throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
#T2# Monferand has control of Bishop's left arm, preventing Bishop from doing any damage. Monferand is trying to control the position but Bishop postures up. Monferand looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bishop is one step ahead there. Monferand is working hard here to advance position.#SUB# Monferand looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bishop is defending well. Monferand quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bishop has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Monferand celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
