Shannon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lacson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Teague Shannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shannon lands a body punch in the clinch. Lacson wants to take the fight to the mat but Shannon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Shannon lands with a short shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shannon's corner calls for a 1-2. Shannon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Lacson shoots for a takedown but Shannon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Shannon stuns Lacson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Shannon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Teague Shannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shannon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lacson if he has to take too many more of those.
We've been informed that Lacson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Shannon lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Shannon scores with a punch to the head. Lacson shoots for a takedown but Shannon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Shannon lands the left hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shannon lands a lovely overhand right. Shannon throws a head kick that misses. Lacson has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Shannon. Shannon connects with the punch. Lacson ducks right into an uppercut from Shannon. Lacson takes a kick to the side of the head. Lacson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Lacson fails with the takedown. Shannon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Shannon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lacson closes the distance looking to clinch and Shannon counters with a lovely straight right hand! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shannon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lacson.

Shannon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lacson on the side of the head. Shannon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lacson was well out of range. Poor timing from Shannon. Lacson is looking for the big counter here. Shannon lands with a shot to the body. Shannon lands a head kick!
Shannon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Lacson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Lacson shoots in but Shannon avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shannon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Shannon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lacson. Shannon throws a quick counter head kick but Lacson was just out of range. Shannon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lacson can do to turn this around? The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that's the end of the fight! Teague Shannon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shannon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Lacson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Lacson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dominguez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lacson landing some decent shots from guard. Lacson distracts Dominguez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dominguez wants to get back to his feet but Lacson passes into half guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lacson working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.#ES# Dominguez kicks off Lacson and gets to his feet. Dominguez loads up on a big right hand but Lacson slips the punch. Dominguez clobbers Lacson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #CUT#It looks like Ping Lacson has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lacson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arjan tries to avoid it but Lacson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arjan to the ground. Arjan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lacson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Arjan circles away. Lacson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Arjan counters with a series of strikes. Lacson will be more careful next time no doubt. Fien Arjan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ping Lacson. Lacson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Arjan counters with a nice uppercut. #CL# Arjan instigates a clinch. Lacson prevents the takedown attempt.

Lacson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baxter defends well and Lacson ends up having to push Baxter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lacson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baxter as he jumps to the side. Baxter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Baxter darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #CUT#It looks like Ping Lacson has been cut. Lacson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. James Baxter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ping Lacson.#CL# Baxter rushes Lacson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Baxter displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lacson up against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Baxter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #ROC#Lacson is rocked! Baxter pushes Lacson against the cage. Baxter is working some dirty boxing. Baxter pushes off with a quick right hook! Lacson goes down! Lacson tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Baxter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lacson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lacson shoots in and drives through. Baxter sprawls well. We've been informed that Baxter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.#TD# Lacson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Baxter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lacson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lacson drops an elbow to the side of Baxter's head. Baxter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lacson scores with a couple of nice shots. Lacson working some ground and pound from close in. Magonurmadov tries to bench press Lacson off him but Lacson keeps the position. Magonurmadov keeps trying to improve his position. Lacson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
