Perez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Deringer manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Perez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Deringer thows a left - swing and a miss!
Patrick Deringer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deringer jabs Perez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Perez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Deringer sprawls well. Deringer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Perez gets slowly back to his feet.#CL2#

Turgenev slips a nice elbow through Perez's hands, connecting with Perez's forehead.

Sterling shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Perez pinned against the cage. Perez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sterling.
Sterling looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sterling tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Perez defends well and Sterling ends up having to push Perez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aljamain Sterling. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sterling jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Perez walks away with a smile on his face. Sterling gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
