Jarzen trying to control the position from guard on top but Laroi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Laroi is on top in guard.
#REVR##SUB2# Jarzen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Laroi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Laroi trying to control but Jarzen is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jarzen being controlled here, momentarily. #T1# Jarzen is trying to control the position but Laroi postures up. We've been hearing that Laroi has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Laroi wants to control from the top but Jarzen keeps moving. Laroi wants to control the pace but Jarzen is squirming around nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB# Laroi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! #SUB# Laroi is working to tighten his grip on Jarzen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jarzen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Laroi is really squeezing tight and eventually Jarzen passes out! Laroi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jarzen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Jarzen blocks an elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jarzen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tomonaga pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tomonaga lands a good knee to the midsection. Jarzen won't want to take too many of those. Tomonaga tries to land a knee to the head but Jarzen blocks with his arms.

Tomonaga goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Tomonaga because Jarzen was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

#R1# Jarzen throws a head kick that misses. Alert seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#CL2# Jarzen closes the distance and clinches. Jarzen is working for takedown but Alert is calmly controlling the position for now.#TD# Alert lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Jarzen pushes Alert away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Alert gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Alert has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jarzen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Alert yanks on the arm and Jarzen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Alert.
