#R1# No luck with that takedown attempt from Tiger. Rom tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tiger manages to circle out of the way. Tiger dives in and grabs Rom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rom pushes down on Tiger's head and hops out.#TD# Rom fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tiger sprawls well initially but Rom persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Rom is thwarting Tiger's attempts to control the position. Tiger has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Rom wants to stand up but Tiger has a hold of him and won't allow it. Rom looks to land a strike but Tiger avoids it nicely and regains full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Tiger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tiger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jorge Rom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tiger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rom sees that one coming and sprawls well. Tiger only half commits to the counter leg kick. Rom throws out a loose jab but Tiger uses good head movement to avoid it. Tiger shoots in but no luck this time. #T3# Rom defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tiger. Rom fails in his attempt to clinch. Tiger is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rom fails to land the takedown. Tiger tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rom defends well and Tiger ends up having to push Rom into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rom went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#TD# Tiger gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. #R1# Ramon throws a hook but Rom avoids it easily. Ramon throws a big shot that misses. Rom on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Ramon scores with a jab to the jaw. Ramon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ramon tests Rom's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rom shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ramon defends it nicely. Razor Ramon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rom takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramon's waist but Ramon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rom off to one side. Ramon cracks Rom with an open hand slap. Ramon is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Ramon misses with a wild body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ramon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rom lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
#T2##SUB2# Rom wants to finish this one by submission but Ramon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rom. Rom punishing his opponent with strikes. Ramon is trying to stand but he's just given Rom his back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rom trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Ramon doesn't escape. Ramon is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. #T3# Rom controlling the position well here. Ramon rolled but Rom kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Ramon refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Ramon's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ramon scores with a nice head shot. Ramon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Ramon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ramon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ramon scores with a jab. Ramon lands a slapping body shot.
Rom closes the distance and clinches up with Ramon, looking for a takedown. Rom pushes Ramon against the cage but Ramon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramon is fending him off so far but Rom persists. Nope, Ramon circles away and we're back to standing. A jab from Ramon does it's job there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ramon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rom tries to close the distance and clinch but Ramon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ramon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rom looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jab by Ramon. Ramon lands a nice shot that snaps Rom's head back.

Rom moves out of range as Ramon strikes. Donk. Ramon catches Rom right on the button with a cross. Ramon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Ramon scores with a jab to the body. Ramon looks to land a left hand but Rom moved out of range nicely. Rom bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rom closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rom has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rom there as he acknowledges the shot. Ramon cracks Rom with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ramon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nice defenses there by Rom. Ramon lands a jab to Rom's midsection.#T2# Ramon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Ramon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kucherov leaves Rom with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rom throws a sloppy head kick and Kucherov moves out of range easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Kucherov or perhaps it was just good defense by Rom, which made it look bad. A nice side step and Rom releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kucherov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rom swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rom wants to counter the offense by Kucherov and move into the clinch position. Rom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kucherov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
