Oswald fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bayat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#TD2# Oswald closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Oswald wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bayat keeps working. Bayat definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Oswald controlling the position from side mount. Possibly an early stoppage but Bayat doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

#R1##TD# Hamadou shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oswald's guard. Hamadou trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hamadou stays in close to Oswald's body and controls the position. Hamadou missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hamadou is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hamadou tries to free his leg and advance position but Oswald is retaining full guard. Hamadou is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at MY YARD 'Resurrect' that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Oswald working a defensive guard here.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Oswald defending against the ground and pound. Hamadou remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
