Kyrylo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Putangina shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kyrylo pinned against the cage. Kyrylo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Putangina changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kyrylo tries to avoid it but Putangina manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kyrylo to the ground. Kyrylo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kyrylo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kyrylo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Putangina shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kyrylo as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gago Putangina. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Putangina fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fury avoids it really well and circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fury darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Putangina walks straight into a right hand from Fury - that's dropped him! Fury jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Putangina from any more punishment! Putangina complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tyson Fury!
Tyson Fury decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
The defeated Gago Putangina had this to say: 'Don't worry I will be back!!'.
