Barnes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abramovich stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Abramovich tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barnes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abramovich somewhat. Good exchange - Barnes coming out on top. Barnes throws a hook but Abramovich avoids it easily. Abramovich avoids a lazy jab quite easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Abramovich. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Abramovich postures up and lands a big shot to Mondell's brow. #SUB2# Abramovich has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mondell to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Abramovich is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mondell pulls down on the head and he's put Abramovich to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# Nice sprawl there from Guard as Abramovich shoots in. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Abramovich. Abramovich misses with a straight right. Abramovich shoots in for a takedown but Guard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Abramovich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guard scores with a crisp jab that stopped Abramovich in his tracks. Abramovich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Guard. Abramovich staying out of range there. Abramovich swinging wildly here.
Abramovich's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Guard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Abramovich scrambles back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abramovich keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Guard. Abramovich with a lazy takedown attempt and Guard counters with a nice uppercut. Abramovich shoots in looking for a takedown but Guard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Abramovich's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Guard misses with a hook. Honor Guard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Guard. Abramovich shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guard sprawls well. Guard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Abramovich gets slowly back to his feet. Guard looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#T1# Nice jab there from Guard. Guard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Guard should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. #TD# Abramovich decides to pull guard. #SUB2# Borschtinski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Abramovich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Borschtinski on the ground. Borschtinski prevents Abramovich from getting back to his feet. Abramovich is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Borschtinski dives into side control.
#SUB2# Borschtinski is working to tighten his grip on Abramovich's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Abramovich has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Borschtinski is really squeezing tight and eventually Abramovich passes out! Borschtinski breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Maroni has Abramovich pulled in close to control his posture. Abramovich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Maroni has his hands on Abramovich's head, controlling the position. #SUB# Maroni is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maroni can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Abramovich controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Let's hope that Abramovich has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
