Oliveri throws a head kick but Takaida moves out of range.
Oliveri throws a right and a left that both miss.
Takaida slips a straight right by Oliveri.
Takaida walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oliveri throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Oliveri takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Takaida darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oliveri uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Takaida.
Oliveri throws a head kick that misses.
A punch combination from Oliveri misses.
Oliveri throws a right hand that Takaida ducks under and follows up with a left that Takaida also avoids with ease.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takaida unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Oliveri! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Takaida is unloading with more strikes now! Oliveri drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Oliveri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turgenev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
