Burgess swings for the body but Yu moves out of range.
Yu's corner calls for a 1-2. Yu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Yu throws a body shot but no joy.
An attempted straight right counter from Burgess misses the target.
Yu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Yu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Burgess misses with a right hand
and Yu counters with a nice body shot. #CL2#
Yu has closed the distance and engaged Burgess in a clinch.
Yu scores with a hook to the body.
Still in the clinch, Yu scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice left hand lands by Yu.
Yu is working Burgess over against the cage.
Burgess is breathing heavily.
Yu blocks an uppercut.

Yu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Burgess swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Yu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Yu sizes up Burgess with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Burgess throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yu counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Burgess has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Keel Yu!
As Keel Yu got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Ladies and gents, I just fought Slender Man and won.. get da fork outta here you forking toothpick!!!'. |

A looping hook to the body misses from Yu. Adams does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yu misses with a wild body shot.
Adams takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Adams shoots in for a double leg but Yu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adams was well out of range. Poor timing from Yu.
Yu jabs Adams to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Yu cracks Adams with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Adams fails with a takedown attempt.
Yu throwing a counter right hand but Adams manages to avoid it.
Adams shoots in but Yu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Keel Yu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Adams.
Yu lands a nice shot to the body.
Adams gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yu.
Adams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Yu scores with a one two! Adams had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Yu lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Adams up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Yu from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Adams's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keel Yu!
