Malcom feints and as Havitta raises his hands in defense, Malcom changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SU#
Malcom stands up from Havitta's guard - Malcom perhaps looking for a knockout.
Havitta sizes up Malcom with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheers as Havitta lands an impressive looking overhand right. Malcom doesn't seem phased though.#ROC2#Malcom is rocked!
Malcom walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Malcom limp body while Havitta jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dhadimagi Havitta!

Edwards tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Edwards closes this distance looking for a takedown but Malcom circles away.

and Malcom counters with a nice double leg into side control. Edwards won't be happy with that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Malcom lands a strong strike to the head of Edwards. That's dazed him! Malcom looking to finish here. Edwards is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Malcom lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
