#R1# Nuorempi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nuorempi tries to clinch but Ryan moves out of range. Nuorempi throws a jab but it's blocked by Ryan. We've been hearing reports that Nuorempi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Nuorempi tries to clinch up but Ryan circles away and keeps his distance. Ryan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ryan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ryan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nuorempi.
Ryan tries for a takedown but Nuorempi circles away easily#CL# and Nuorempi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ryan is looking to take this one to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nuorempi gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ryan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nuorempi throwing a counter right hand but Ryan manages to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Ryan. Ryan gets cracked there but stands up to it.

He's got his arms around Nuorempi's waist but Nuorempi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side. Suutari Nuorempi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gordan Ryan. Ryan lands a jab. Ryan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ryan clobbers Nuorempi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Nuorempi drops Ryan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Nuorempi follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Best quickly recovers to half guard. Best is in trouble now - Ryan has advanced to mount! Ryan controlling the position easily from mount. Ryan moves to take his opponent's back. Well, with Ryan on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Best is tapping out... Can he escape the position? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Ryan is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Best is tapping out! This one is all over!

#R1# Ryan shoots for a takedown but Skoromniy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ryan defending well as Skoromniy loads up on a big left hand. Ryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ryan misses with a looping right. Skoromniy misses with a hook. Ryan appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordan Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Skoromniy swings for the body but Ryan moves out of range.

It seemed like Skoromniy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ryan fails in his attempt to clinch. Skoromniy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.#T1# Skoromniy looks to land a combination but Ryan avoids it well. Ryan feinted with a counter takedown. Ryan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CUT2#It looks like Gordan Ryan has been cut. A big right from Skoromniy misses. Skoromniy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Igor Skoromniy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skoromniy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ryan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skoromniy tries to avoid it but Ryan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skoromniy to the ground. Skoromniy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ryan fails to land the takedown. Ryan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nice uppercut there from Skoromniy. Gordan Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skoromniy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ryan manages to avoid it.#T2# Ryan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ryan wants to clinch. A little jabbing left from Skoromniy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ryan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ryan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Skoromniy pinned against the cage. Skoromniy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ryan fails with the takedown and Skoromniy counters with a one-two to the body. Skoromniy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Skoromniy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ryans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ryan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
#T3# Ryan shoots in for a double leg but Skoromniy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ryan is defended easily by Skoromniy. Skoromniy scores with the left hand. Ryan knows he should have avoided that one. Ryan fails with a takedown attempt. Ryan fails with the takedown and Skoromniy counters with a straight right hand. Ryan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #T4# Ryan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skoromniy tries to avoid it but Ryan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skoromniy to the ground. Skoromniy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Skoromniy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ryan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Skoromniy is fending him off so far but Ryan persists. Nope, Skoromniy circles away and we're back to standing. Skoromniy stuffs the takedown attempt from Ryan. Ryan gets slowly back to his feet. Skoromniy swats away the attempt to clinch by Ryan. Ryan fails with the takedown letting Skoromniy counter with a right hand. Skoromniy getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Ryan dodges the punch combination from Skoromniy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ryan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Skoromniy closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Ryan out cold! Ryan corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Breika tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Ryan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ryan lands with a right hand. Gordan Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Breika looking for a takedown here - he's got it.#SUB# Ryan looking for a triangle here. Breika is fighting it but it looks tight! Ryan pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Breika is tapping out - this one is all over!

Kopaenachoal's coach down at Hero Academia was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kopaenachoal's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kopaenachoal with a body punch. A glancing blow. #TD2# Ryan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB# Ryan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kopaenachoal trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ryan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kopaenachoal manages to get himself to full guard.

Ryan passes the guard and advances to mount! #SUB# Ryan looking for a guillotine from mount but Kopaenachoal is having none of it. Ryan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Ryan takes a little breather and maintains the position. Ryan works a leg free and moves into half guard. #SUB# Ryan seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Flee is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
