Kovac tries to score a power double leg takedown but Castillo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kovac somewhat.
Castillo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Olatunji wants to clinch
and Castillo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Castillo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Olatunji's head.

Castillo lands a left and a right that send Ubereem crashing to the mat, dazed. Castillo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT#It looks like Alistair Ubereem has been cut.
Ubereem swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Castillo rattles Ubereem with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Ubereem tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Castillo dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Ubereem stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Richard Castillo!

Castillo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Miles takes a jab right on the kisser.
Castillo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Miles takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Castillo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miles momentarily.
Richard Castillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castillo lands a nice hook to Miles's body. Miles takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Miles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Miles looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #KD2#
Castillo cracks Miles with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Miles looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Castillo finish him? #ROC2#Miles is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Dan Miles has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miles walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Castillo! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
