Fallas in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Poundstone regains half guard, as Fallas was trying to land strikes. Fallas not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fallas missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Poundstone wants to improve his position but Fallas is controlling well.

Poundstone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Isaacs looks for the body kick but Poundstone saw that one coming. Poundstone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tony Isaacs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Poundstone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#TD2# Poundstone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Poundstone remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Eight throws a leg kick and Poundstone counters with a nice leg kick. Eight shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Poundstone counters with a big head kick but Eight shrugs it off. Eight tries to clinch up and Poundstone counters with a nice leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eight with a poor takedown and Poundstone counters with an outside leg kick.
Eight has his takedown stuffed and Poundstone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lom Eight. #R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Nice straight punches there by Five. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Five. Nine sizes up Five with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Five throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Nine let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Five throws a shot from downtown. Nine moves away and avoids it. An inside leg kick lands from Nine. #T2# Five takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Five throws a lazy head kick and Nine counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Five thows a leg kick but Nine checks it and Nine counters with a low kick, right behind Five 's knee. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round.
