#R1# McBiden displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Esponosa. Esponosa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McBiden's waist but McBiden gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Esponosa off to one side. Esponosa shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Esponosa. That's going to take a lot out of him. McBiden lands a head shot. Esponosa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McBiden defends well and Esponosa ends up having to push McBiden into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#TD# Esponosa has McBiden pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Esponosa pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McBiden tumbling to the mat - Esponosa dives into McBiden's guard. Esponosa controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Esponosa forces his way into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McBiden can do anything to dispel that myth. McBiden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1# Esponosa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. McBiden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McBiden has hold of Esponosa's hands but Esponosa slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. McBiden pushes Esponosa off looking to stand but Esponosa dives back in and keeps control.
#SUB# Esponosa maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! McBiden could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Esponosa has cracked it and McBiden is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Esponosa!

A very excited looking Ricardo Esponosa rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. The defeated Chester McBiden had this to say: 'what the point of living if it just endless cycle of suffering'. |

#R1# McBiden keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McBiden misses with a looping right. McBiden connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Armando's hands. McBiden misses with a shot to the body and Armando counters with a lovely straight right hand! Armando's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McBiden connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Armando scrambles back to his feet.#CUT2#It looks like Diego Armando has been cut. McBiden tests Armando's chin there with a solid looking shot. McBiden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Armando.
McBiden lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Armando tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McBiden was well out of range. Poor timing from Armando. McBiden takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McBiden jabbing away but nothing is landing. McBiden misses with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McBiden bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Armando's head backwards. McBiden lands an overhand right. McBiden displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Armando throws out the jab. Armando throws a body shot but no joy. McBiden paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#T1# Donk. McBiden catches Armando right on the button with a cross.#ROC2#Armando is rocked! McBiden lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chester McBiden! After the fight, Chester McBiden was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |

#R1# Goku tries to clinch but fails miserably and McBiden counters with a stiff right hand. McBiden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Goku looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. McBiden throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Goku wants to clinch. McBiden keeps Goku at a distance using the push kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McBiden dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Goku. That did some damage! Goku steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McBiden. Goku half committed to a counter leg kick. Goku lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. McBiden throws a good cross that connects.
#ROC2#Goku is rocked!#T1# Goku turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Goku walks forward, straight into a front kick from McBiden. Goku on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Goku looking to land some kicks to the body here.
McBiden lands a nice looking body shot.
McBiden misses with a hook. McBiden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McBiden checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.#KD2# McBiden drops Goku with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Goku looks back up at him and smiles so McBiden waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Goku is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BAM! McBiden delivers a spinning backfist that drops Goku like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

#R1# McBiden moves into range and connects with a jab. Wilson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Wilson looks for a takedown but McBiden sprawls well. Wilson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McBiden sprawls well. McBiden wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet. McBiden lands with a straight right. Wilson didn't see that one coming.#KD2# McBiden cracks Wilson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McBiden has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wilson to stand back up!#ROC2#Wilson is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilson leaves his chin hanging out and McBiden seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Wilson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

#R1# McBiden moves into range and connects with a jab. McBiden throws out a loose jab but Mataratsi uses good head movement to avoid it. McBiden lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mataratsi swings away with a body shot that misses
and McBiden counters with a straight right hand.#CUT#It looks like Brendan Mataratsi has been cut. Mataratsi misses with a few strikes there.
As Mataratsi tries to get set, McBiden tries to push him back and clinch up but Mataratsi manages to avoid the attempt. Mataratsi tries to clinch there but McBiden circles away.
McBiden misses with a straight right. Mataratsi closes the distance looking to clinch and McBiden counters with a lovely straight right hand! McBiden just misses with a punch to the body.
Mataratsi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mataratsi is looking for the big counter here.#KD# Oooooh!!! McBiden has knocked Mataratsi down with a huge combo! McBiden steps away and waves a wobbly Mataratsi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC#Mataratsi is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mataratsi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mataratsi is still on wobbly legs! Can McBiden finish him? McBiden lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Mataratsi falls backwards - clearly groggy! McBiden dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Chester McBiden decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

#R1# Bandares swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Brown.#CUT2#It looks like Omar Brown has been cut. Bandares waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. Bandares looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range. Brown throws a body kick that misses and Bandares counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Donk. Brown catches Bandares right on the button with a cross.#CUT#It looks like Smokey Bandares has been cut. Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
#ROC#Bandares is rocked!#CL# Brown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bandares, pushing him back against the cage. Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bandares walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Omar Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bandares misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely. Brown tries to clinch and Bandares connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Brown misses with a hook to the body
and Bandares counters with a nice body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Bandares scores with a slapping inside leg kick.#T1# Bandares gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Brown gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.#TD2# Cruz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cruz lands in his opponent's guard.#SUB# Bandares has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cruz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bandares. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cruz has knee on belly and moves into mount. #T1# Bandares looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!#SUB2# Cruz is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Bandares won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Cruz off his unconscious opponent!
