Davis throws out a counter right but Smith avoids it with no problem.
John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Davis closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Smith! Davis dives in looking to finish! Smith is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
