Hanks tries to clinch up#KD# and Johnson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hanks! Johnson lets Hanks back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC#Hanks is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson thuds his shin into the meat of Hanks's side. Johnson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Johnson lands with a shot to the body. Hanks does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Johnson connects with a crisp jab. Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt letting Johnson counter with a right hand. #T1# A head kick misses from Johnson. Hanks misses with a leg kick letting Johnson counter with a right hand. Johnson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hanks in his tracks. Hanks is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?#KD# Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hanks sprawling to the canvas! Hanks rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!
Hanks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson throws an uppercut from hell that sends Hanks clean off his feet! He's out cold! Johnson stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Jason Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. Johnson scores with a kick to the midsection. Pfanne is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. As Pfanne looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo but Pfanne just gets out of the way. Johnson throws a quick inside leg kick. No luck for Pfanne with that takedown attempt. Pfanne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jason Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Pfanne. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Pfanne shoots in.#TD2# Pfanne fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Pfanne is now in Johnson's guard. Johnson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pfanne off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Johnson throws a right hand that Pfanne ducks under and follows up with a left that Pfanne also avoids with ease. Pfanne takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Sharpe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sharpe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson is looking to counter punch. Johnson scores with a hook. Sharpe closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away. Jason Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donovan Sharpe.#TD2# Sharpe fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Sharpe is now in Johnson's guard. Sharpe lands a couple of elbows. Johnson is looking to stand up but Sharpe isn't so interested in that idea. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Sharpe from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sharpe is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control. Sharpe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Sharpe throws a big right hand that misses. #T1# Johnson wants to stand and escape but Sharpe is having none of it. Sharpe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #ES# Johnson scrambles and gets back to his feet.

A low kick from Johnson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sharpe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sharpe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.#TD2# Sharpe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johnson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Johnson wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sharpe.
#T2# Johnson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sharpe has just dragged him back down to the mat. Johnson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sharpe connects with a decent elbow. Sharpe prevents Johnson from escaping the position. Sloppy strikes there by Sharpe. Johnson is pushing Sharpe's head away, looking to escape. Sharpe manages to hold on to the position though. Johnson's coaches at Mythic Co. have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sharpe misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

#R1# Doumergos with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut. Doumergos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Johnson with a jab. Doumergos shoots in but no luck this time. It looked like Johnson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Johnson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Doumergos. Johnson is looking to counter punch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doumergos is defended easily by Johnson. Jason Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaston Doumergos. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Doumergos. Doumergos gets slowly back to his feet. #KD# Johnson drops Doumergos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Doumergos looks back up at him and smiles so Johnson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jason Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olatunji walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Olatunji limp body while Johnson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
