#R1# Trapperson with a poor takedown and Jovanovic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. We've been hearing reports that Jovanovic has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Trapperson fails with a takedown attempt. Jovanovic appears to be looking for a big counter. Trapperson with a lazy takedown attempt and Jovanovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gavrilo Jovanovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trappy Trapperson. Trapperson tries to clinch but Jovanovic moves away and Jovanovic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trapperson fails with the takedown and Jovanovic counters with a lovely straight right hand!#KD# Jovanovic cracks Trapperson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jovanovic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Trapperson to stand back up!#T1# Jovanovic cracks Trapperson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Trapperson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jovanovic pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Trapperson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

#R1# Anderson works over Trapperson's head and body with a nice combination. Anderson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Trapperson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Anderson defends it well. Anderson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Trapperson has time to react. Trapperson throws a poor cross that misses
and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Trapperson shoots in but no luck this time. Anderson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Anderson lands a head shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#KD# Anderson lands a big right hand that sends Trapperson crashing to the mat! Anderson stays standing though and waves Trapperson back to his feet!#ROC#Trapperson is rocked! Trapperson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Anderson counters with a big left hand that crumples Trapperson! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Trapperson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #SUB2# Pinales is trying to get an arm triangle but Trapperson is defending well. Trapperson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Pinales is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trapperson defends it well. Trapperson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Trapperson. Trapperson looking to control.

Trapperson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pinales off and has taken his back! This has been an exciting period of action! Usman takes a swing at Trapperson's ribcage but misses. Usman moves into range and connects with a jab. Usman clobbers Trapperson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Trapperson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Usman circles away. RaeRae Usman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trappy Trapperson. Usman swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Usman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is the final round!#R3# Trapperson tries for a takedown but Usman circles away easily and Usman counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Trapperson out cold! What a finish! Usman is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Anderson throws a leg kick which misses Trapperson's front leg but catches the back leg as Trapperson tries to avoid it. #KD# Anderson lands a left and a right that send Trapperson crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#Trapperson is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Trappy Trapperson has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anderson throws an overhand right that has Trapperson reeling! Anderson follows up with more punches and Trapperson is out cold! This one is all over!

#R1# Jab, jab by Sanchez - just one landing. Sanchez lands with a straight right. Trapperson didn't see that one coming.#CL2# Sanchez gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sanchez lands a shoulder strike. Sanchez's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sanchez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sanchez is pushing Trapperson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. #TD2# Sanchez tightens his grip and picks Trapperson up, before dumping him to the ground. Trapperson manages to land in guard. Sanchez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Trapperson being controlled here, momentarily. Sanchez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T1# Trapperson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanchez manages to get himself to full guard.

Hisashi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kakuzo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Trappersons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Trapperson wants to take the fight to the mat but Kakuzo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kakuzo lands a left hand.

Trapperson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Trapperson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
