It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bass uses from the top position. Hanma is pulling down on Bass's head to control his posture. #SUB2# Bass drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hanma manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bass has Hanma in his guard.#REVR# Hanma controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hanma slips nicely into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Tartarus stalks Bass and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bass's face. Bass staggers backwards, shaken.#CUT#It looks like Barry Bass has been cut. Tartarus throws an overhand right that lands on Bass's shoulder, as Bass tries to avoid the shot. Bass is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Tartarus lands a nice looking body kick. Tartarus connects with a leg kick. Tartarus throws a jab when Bass was well out of range. Tartarus tests Bass's chin there with a solid looking shot. Tartarus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tartarus misses with a looping right. Tartarus with a body punch. A glancing blow. #T1# Tartarus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bass is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Bass slips a jab from Tartarus. Tartarus with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

#T2# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tartarus looks to land a combination. Bass sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Tartarus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. No joy there for Tartarus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tartarus throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Bass colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Tartarus as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Bass is left battered and dazed whilst Tartarus and his camp cheer!

Bass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Hawk wants to work for an arm triangle but Bass is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
