Hammer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hammer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Tierney drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tierney seems to have locked his on tight now - Hammer screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tierney, as he picks up the win!

Tierney fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#TD2#
Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tierney is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jackson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tierney's body to avoid the submission. Tierney has instead reached around Jackson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tierney arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Oooooh!!! Alverez has knocked Tierney down with a huge combo! Alverez steps away and waves a wobbly Tierney back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
