A lazy body kick from Martinez and Partanen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#CUT#It looks like Alejandro Martinez has been cut.#KD# Partanen drops Martinez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Martinez looks back up at him and smiles so Partanen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice cross by Partanen.#ROC#Martinez is rocked! Martinez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. He has the arm isolated but Preston is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Martinez lands a few punches from side control. Sloppy strikes there by Martinez. Martinez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Preston keeps working. Martinez in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Preston is looking for a sweep. Martinez tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Martinez throws a strike aimed at the side of Preston's head but Preston avoids it well.#T1# Preston isn't going anywhere. Martinez just content to control the position. #SU# Martinez stands up and we're back to a striking position. Martinez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Preston as he avoids it easily. Martinez lands a head kick. Preston smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CUT#It looks like Peter Preston has been cut.
