Montagu throws a looping overhand right but Beverley ducks down to avoid it.
Montagu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Montagu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beverley.
Beverley moves out of range of the strikes.#TD#
Beverley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beverley showed some decent athleticism there.
Montagu tries to kick Beverley off in order to stand up. Beverley Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU#

Montagu's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Beverley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Montagu fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Montagu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Beverley.

Montagu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Beverley cranks the arm and Montagu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Montagu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
