Jimenez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jimenez wants it to stay on the feet. Jimenez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.#CL# Jimenez clinches up with Rider and pushes him back against the cage. Rider wants to get back to striking at distance but Jimenez won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rider keeps control of Jimenez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #TD# Jimenez pulls guard effortlessly. #SUB# Jimenez has his foot on Rider's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rider works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB# Jimenez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jimenez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rider trying to control the position from guard on top but Jimenez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jimenez is pulling down on Rider's head to control his posture. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rider wants to stand but Jimenez is controlling his posture from full guard. Rider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jimenez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jimenez has his hands on Rider's head, controlling the position. Rider won't allow Jimenez to sweep him here. Jimenez is controlling Rider's posture. Jimenez keeping moving, preventing Rider from controlling successfully. #T3# Rider wants to pass the guard but Jimenez is keeping the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jimenez controlling the position.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rider misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jimenez. Rider drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jimenez defends it well. Rider gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #TD# and Jimenez counters with a shoot takedown. Rider fights it but they end up in guard. Rider wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jimenez manages to pass to side control. #REVB# Jimenez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Rider looks winded!#T4##SUB# Jimenez has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rider defend it? Jimenez steps over the head and cranks it - Rider is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jimenez!
