Tinkerfoot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Raj half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Raj stuffs the takedown. Raj misses with the combination.
Tinkerfoot tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Raj defends well and Tinkerfoot ends up having to push Raj into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mesha Raj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bink Tinkerfoot. Raj lands with a hook. Tinkerfoot tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Raj avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Raj throws the kick towards the body but No Joy avoids it. No Joy looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. A big left from Raj misses. Raj throws a push kick but No Joy slaps the foot to one side. A jab lands there for No Joy. Raj tries to clinch up but No Joy circles away and keeps his distance. Raj shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. No Joy defends it nicely.#T2# Raj dodges the punch combination from No Joy.

No Joy thumps Raj with a low kick. Do No Joy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Raj shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Raj was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The ground and pound from Raj seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. #T3# Raj throws a strike aimed at the side of No Joy's head but No Joy avoids it well. No Joy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Raj connects with a decent elbow. #SUB2# Raj tries for a kimura but No Joy is defending well. Raj lands a decent elbow from side control. No Joy is trying to get back to half guard. Raj creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Do No Joy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Raj works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Raj scoring with punches and elbows. No Joy taking punishment in the form of punches.
