Matias looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Matias defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Harrison . A solid leg kick lands there for Harrison .
Matias fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#TD# Matias gets caught flat footed, as Harrison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Matias trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Matias's head. Matias trying to keep a closed guard but Harrison is proving a slippery customer.
Matias tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T1# Matias keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully. Harrison passes easily into side control. Nice work. Matias is looking to regain half guard here but Harrison keeps moving and retains side control. #SUB# Harrison goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Matias has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Harrison but great work by Matias. Matias in side control, throwing shots but Harrison defends. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harrison throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. #T2# Matias tries to move into full mount but can't pass Harrison 's legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matias in side control, throwing shots but Harrison defends. #SUB2# Matias tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Matias has knee on belly momentarily but Harrison bucks him off and regains half guard. Matias looks winded! Harrison tries to kick Matias off but Matias keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #T3# Matias trying to pass the guard but Harrison defending well. Matias is looking to take a break and control but Harrison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Harrison has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Matias is working away from the top position though.#ES# Harrison has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Matias is on him like a limpet, forcing Harrison back against the cage. Harrison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Matias is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A battle for position here, against the cage. Matias wants to break free but Harrison has control.

Harrison dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Matias throws a series of strikes that have Harrison backpedaling.
Harrison misses with a few strikes there.
Matias tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Harrison paws at him with a jab and circles away. Matias is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Harrison . The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#CL# Harrison rushes Matias and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#BC# Harrison manages to break the clinch.
A clash of legs there as Harrison blocks the low kick. Harrison throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Matias. Some bone on bone action there as Harrison checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. #TD2# Matias fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harrison sprawls well initially but Matias persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Harrison has one foot on Matias's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Liam Harrison dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!#R2# Matias is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Harrison . Liam Harrison is winning the standup battle so far. Matias shoots in for a takedown but Harrison shows good takedown defense. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Matias is defended easily by Harrison . Matias is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Harrison avoids the body shot from Matias.

Horrible takedown attempt by Harrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Matias, which made it look bad. Matias is breathing heavily.#T1# Matias looks for the body kick but Harrison saw that one coming. Harrison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Matias shoots for a double leg takedown but Harrison sprawls well. He's pushed Matias's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL# The fight moves into the clinch position.#TD# Harrison jumps guard and drags Matias to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Matias seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Matias stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Matias is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.#T2# Matias throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Matias wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving. #SUB# Harrison has his feet on Matias's thighs here. He's pushed Matias off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Matias screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

#R1##CL2# O Darren rushes Matias and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#TD# Matias jumps guard and drags O Darren to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. O Darren showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Let's hope that O Darren has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. O Darren scoring with some ground and pound. O Darren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Matias trying to keep a closed guard but O Darren is proving a slippery customer.

Matias slips out almost immediately though and dives into O Darren's guard.#REVR# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
