He tries to recover but Lowry pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kiang is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Lowry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lowry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Amiga is letting Lowry control him for a moment.
Lowry seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Amiga for as long as he can get away with.#SU#

Amiga walks straight into a right hand from Lowry - that's dropped him! Lowry jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Amiga from any more punishment! Amiga complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
