Zapina bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Moltisanti lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Moltisanti. Zapina fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Moltisanti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Zapina misses with a body shot.
Moltisanti attempts a counter takedown but Zapina avoids it well and moves away. Moltisanti rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zapina connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Moltisanti throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Zapina wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Robert Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zapina lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Zapina misses with a low kick.
