Fleximario throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fleximario throws a lazy uppercut
#TD# and Kiely counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kiely seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kiely is trying to control. Fleximario wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kiely is really struggling to control Fleximario but he's trying to hold on to the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiely trying to mount his opponent but Fleximario defends it. Fleximario is refusing to be controlled, as Kiely sits in half guard. Nice work there by Kiely. Kiely looking to sit in guard and control but Fleximario gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Kiely is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Kiely is thwarting Fleximario's attempts to control the position.
