Jones tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from OMalley.

OMalley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but OMalley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OMalley lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

OMalley shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but OMalley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in OMalley's guard. #REVB##SUB#

Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders OMalley to his feet.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jones! OMalley is out on his feet! Jones rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - OMalley is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! OMalley is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
