#R1# Kibz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vermeulen sprawls well. Vermeulen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kibz gets slowly back to his feet. Kegomoditswe Vermeulen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vermeulen dodges the punch combination from Kibz.
#CL# Vermeulen clinches. Kibz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vermeulen has him pressed against the cage. Nice elbow from Vermeulen. #CUT#It looks like Alpha Kibz has been cut. With the fighters up against the cage, Vermeulen throws an elbow but misses. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Vermeulen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kibz's brow. Vermeulen pushes off an throws an elbow but Kibz leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Vermeulen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vermeulen comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Vermeulen throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kibz taking a breather. Kibz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vermeulen to keep the fight standing. Our sources have told us that Vermeulen has been working on his elbows in the gym. Nice elbow from Vermeulen. Vermeulen comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. #CUT#That has opened up Alpha Kibz's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! With the fighters up against the cage, Vermeulen throws an elbow but misses. #T1# Nice elbow from Vermeulen. Vermeulen lands a nice elbow. A nice glancing elbow lands by Vermeulen. #CUT#The cut above Alpha Kibz's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Vermeulen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kibz's defenses. Kibz has had enough of the clinch but Vermeulen keeps him there for the moment. Vermeulen creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Kibz! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Vermeulen.

#R1# Gustav throws a right hand that Kibz ducks under and follows up with a left that Kibz also avoids with ease. Kibz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gustav circles away. A nice combination there by Gustav.
Gustav is looking to take this fight into the clinch.#CL# Kibz closes the distance and pushes Gustav back into the cage. Gustav has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gustav looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kibz keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gustav's efforts to push away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kibz lands a body shot. Gustav is trying to force a seperation but Kibz has the dominant position. Gustav working hard to break the clinch.#BC# Kibz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Kibz pushes Gustav up against the cage in a clinch.#T1# A frustrated look appears on Gustav's face as he tries to break the clinch. #TD# Gustav is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kibz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gustav to the mat. Gustav regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Kibz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gustav keeping full guard, as Kibz tries to pass. Gustav really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kibz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kibz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gustav is wriggling around but Kibz manages to pass to half guard.
Kibz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #T2##SU# Kibz escapes and gets back to his feet. #CL# Kibz has Gustav up against the cage in a clinch.
Gustav tries to circle away but Kibz has him pinned against the cage. Kibz content to slow the pace in the clinch.
#TD# Kibz pulls guard effortlessly. Kibz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SUB# Kibz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#SUB# Kibz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gustav is defending well. Kibz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gustav has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kibz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

#R1# Violatae moves into range and connects with a jab. Violatae ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kibz is defended easily by Violatae. A low kick from Violatae misses #TD2# and Kibz counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kibz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kibz wants to pass the guard but Violatae is keeping the position. Kibz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Violatae's guard. Violatae tries to kick Kibz off but Kibz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Violatae on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Violatae tries to get out of the position. Kibz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Violatae's head. Kibz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kibz works his foot free and advances to mount. #T1# Kibz raining down shots from the mount! Kibz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kibz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Violatae wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kibz is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kibz controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Violatae really wants to buck Kibz off and get back to his feet. Kibz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
