Chavez darts in looking for a takedown but DeJohnson gets double underhooks and turns Chavez into the cage.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from DeJohnson! But no joy.
DeJohnson gets through Chavez 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
DeJohnson stalling the fight.
Chavez takes a shot to the head.
DeJohnson digs a right hand underneath Chavez 's ribcage. Chavez let out a lung full of air as it connected.
DeJohnson digs a right hand into Chavez 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Chavez 's gas tank.

DeJohnson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Chavez with a big uppercut! Chavez tries to clinch up but DeJohnson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Chavez to the mat! Chavez covers up and DeJohnson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Chavez is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Wulong just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Chavez has gone limp and this one is over!

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Frederick will probably get the nod.

Frederick has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Chavez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Frederick is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Chavez pulls down on the head and he's put Frederick to sleep! This one is all over!

Chavez fails with the takedown
and Maca Jr counters with a low kick, right behind Chavez 's knee.
Jordenis Maca Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Chavez .
Maca Jr changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Maca Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chavez 's sensitive parts.
Chavez shoots in for a double leg but Maca Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Alex Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maca Jr lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Chavez up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Maca Jr from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Chavez 's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kersikov.
Chavez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kersikov wants to stand but Chavez has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. #SUB#
Chavez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kersikov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chavez has tightened it up now! Kersikov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Pullman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Chavez sprawling to the canvas! Chavez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pullman finish him?!

Chavez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chavez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pullman walks away with a smile on his face. Chavez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Chavez . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pullman weaves into range and cracks Chavez right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Chavez goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Pullman is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
