Well Beneke has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Takanori manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rhat backing away here, and Takanori unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Takanori throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Donk. Takanori catches Rhat right on the button with a cross. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rhat with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

We've been told by Arnason's head coaches at Makweingdo Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Rhat looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A low kick from Rhat is predictable there and Rhat takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Arnason takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Arnason lands the left hand. Arnason swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rhat on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ayres wants to control from the top but Rhat keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
