Benoit shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Smith is doing well to control the position and prevent Benoit from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ground and pound from Benoit .
Benoit sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Smith defending well though.
Smith moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Benoit manages to get himself to full guard.

Benoit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Benoit tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Smith seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Benoit is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Benoit looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lawson!
Lawson manages to get back to half guard.
Benoit not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lawson has his hands clasped together around Benoit 's back. He's all about the action.
Benoit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lawson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lawson continues to stall.
Lawson gets back to full guard.

Benoit throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lawson was covering up waiting for the punch and Benoit finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lawson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Benoit frees his head nicely. Oh but Lawson has switched to an armbar! Benoit is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
