Dias tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Olofsson throws the left hand but Dias avoids the punch easily. Olofsson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dias takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Olofsson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mikael Olofsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dias looks to land a right hand but Olofsson moved out of range. Olofsson appears to be looking for a big counter. Manzine throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dias on the side of the head. #CUT#It looks like Sebastiao Dias has been cut. Dias is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Manzine. Manzine throws a monster overhand right that drops Dias! Manzine follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dias has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Carter throws a body kick that misses and Dias counters with a nice uppercut. Dias throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dias throws a jab when Carter was well out of range. Dias lands a jab to the nose. Dias misses with a body shot.
We've been told by Carter's head coaches at Tappelukerho that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.#TD# Carter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dias throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Barbano wants to get back to his feet. Dias in side control lands a decent elbow. Dias fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dias moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. #SUB# Dias thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hammer scores with a decent looking hook.#TD2# Hammer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dias! The crowd are loving this. Dias throws a hook to the side of Putangina's head but Putangina sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Putangina tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD# and Dias counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. #T2# Putangina regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dias. Putangina has Dias pulled in close to control his posture. Dias throws a strike but Putangina rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dias tries to land a sweep but no joy. Putangina slips nicely into half guard. Dias wants to improve his position but Putangina is controlling well.

and Dias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gamin throws a body punch but Dias moves out of range. Dias seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Gamin scores with a jab to the body. Dias wants to clinch up but Gamin keeps it at a distance. Dias misses with a hook
and Gamin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gamin slips under a jab from Dias. Gamin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dias misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gamin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dias. A looping hook to the body misses from Gamin. Dias does a little dance to reset his feet. Dias takes a shot to the body in his stride.

#R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by White. #SU# White decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dias to his feet. #KD2# Dias waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract White. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped White to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
#CUT2#It looks like Walt White has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dias throws a big right hand that misses. #SUB# White looking for a guillotine here but Dias defends easily.
Dias working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. White avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dias is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Dias scoring with some ground and pound. #ROC2#White is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dias postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces White's head off the mat! White is out! He's out! Dias jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
