#R1# Parisyen looks to score with a jab to the body but Beard is just out of range. Beard fails in his attempt to clinch. Beard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. No luck for Beard with that takedown attempt. Parisyen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beard moves away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Beard is defended easily by Parisyen. A quick step to the side and Parisyen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parisyen slaps away a takedown attempt from Beard, before circling back to the center of the mat. Parisyen swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Kari Parisyen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Beard. Beard tries for a takedown but Parisyen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A counter left hand to the body from Parisyen misses its target. A head kick misses from Beard. #CL2# Beard forces Parisyen back against the cage and clinches.#T1# Beard avoiding damage as Parisyen throws knees to the body.

Parisyen is looking to wear down Beard with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Parisyen scores with a hook to the body. Beard takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Parisyen keeps the fight on the outside. Parisyen digs a good hook to Beard's body.
Beard looks winded! Parisyen throws a shot to the body.
Parisyen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Parisyen rushes Beard with punches - Beard moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Beard goes down! Parisyen follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
