Bloggs pushes Stamis against the cage but Stamis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#TD# Stamis shoots in and bounces Bloggs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Stamis looking to pass the guard. Stamis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bloggs avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Bloggs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stamis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Bloggs has his foot on Stamis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bloggs is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Stamis lands a couple of good shots and Bloggs has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Stamis throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Bloggs!

Stamis gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Stamis apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Stamis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stamis looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stamis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stamis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bloggs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bloggs pushes Stamis off looking to stand but Stamis dives back in and keeps control.
