#R1# Patterson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jacobs circles away. Jacobs really is a fat lump. Nice takedown defense from Jacobs. No joy for Patterson on that attempt. Patterson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jacobs tries to avoid it but Patterson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jacobs to the ground. Jacobs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Frank Jacobs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patterson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jacobs is defending well. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jacobs creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #ROC2#Kozmas is rocked! Jacobs misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jacobs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kozmas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jacobs fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jacobs tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jacobs swings wildly with an uppercut but Knuckles uses good head movement to avoid it. A short right from Jacobs. Knuckles tries to stall but Jacobs uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jacobs tries to throw a body punch but Knuckles avoids it by throwing Jacobs back against the cage. Jacobs lands a shot to the body. Jacobs lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Knuckles backwards. Jacobs keeps control of Knuckles as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jacobs goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
